Sopto’s 3G HD digital video SFP transmitter module designed to transmit optical serial digital signals as defined in SMPTE 297-2006. Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) has standards for handling high definition video signals with pathological pattern. SMPTE’s standards currently call for 259M (SD-SDI), 344M (ED-SDI), 292M (HD-SDI) and 424M (3G-SDI). "SMPTE 424M" is a standard which expands upon SMPTE 259M, SMPTE 344M, and SMPTE 292M allowing for bit-rates of 2.970 Gbit/s and 2.970/1.001 Gbit/s over a single-link cable.  Sopto HD SDI video optical transceivers are compatible with SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and SFF-8472 and in different configurations.

The Video SFP transmitter also provides an optional Digital Diagnostic functions to monitor extensive Output optical power, bias current, supply voltage and operating temperature. These 3G video SFP transmitter modules are Class I laser product per international IEC-60825 standards and RoHS compliant.

SOPTO shall not be liable for any delay in or impairment of performance resulting in whole or in part from Acts of God, severe weather conditions, labor disruptions, governmental decrees or controls, insurrections, war risks, shortages, inability to procure or ship product or obtain permits and licenses, supplies or raw materials, or any other circumstances or causes beyond the control of SOPTO in the conduct of its business.

SOPTO keeps most of the products in stock. If a product is not in stock when purchaser place order, SOPTO will do the best to let the purchaser know.
