Prediction of 400G Commercial Schedule According to Huawei 400Gbps Experiment in Poland

According to the press release of Huawei, Huawei 400Gbps super channel uses the so-called “Faster Than Nyquist (FTN)” compensation and recovery algorithm, patent clock restoration technology and adaptive soft decision Adaptive-SDFEC technology to solve the problem of distortion and clock instability under 400Gbps. Ready-made G.652 fiber was used in the test. Press release of Huawei did not disclose transmission distance.

Retrospect forward again, large-scale commercial deployment of 10Gbps appeared in 2001, lasting eight years time from 2001 to 2008. From 2008 to 2013, 100Gbps large-scale commercial deployment is six years. So if we can predict the next stage is 400Gbps first scale deployment, and according to current growth rate data flow, perhaps the next 3-4 years 400Gbps will realize the scale deployment.
